The drive was good. We took our time getting here so it wasn't too taxing. Hope all is well with you and Cody.

Don't forget that they coast 1 million dollars each. So once we are energy independent we can pay off that... $8,000,000,000,000.

P.S. I use a plugin called "peters-custom-anti-spam-image"

JD, I saw your comment about 'bloggin in silence', and it occurred to me that I have been checking your photos for a few years now and have never stopped to Hello...
"Hello" - I like your site, but haven't been here recently. In fact I just now discovered you had dropped the /blog. Your site has been in my blogroll on my WordPress site for a while now, so I updated it there as well.
I used to edit my pages by hand for years and years, and my brother suggested I try WordPress. It has made my life much simpler. I still use vi to edit my themes, but I'm just an old keyboard hack by nature. We share the same good taste in sunsets, and sometimes your site has inspired me to put more of my photos on-line. Thanks for that. I'll check back more often - and invite you to drop in on SomeNet anytime. Maybe even leave a comment along the way.
 Thanks for the pix & 73 /;^)

the junkyard is fascinating. I had not thought about all the neat designs one could create from touring a junkyard.

Nice pictures.

Ah yes Lisa. The Obama responsibilities. I bet that is very engaging. I have to admit, although I contributed to Obama early in the primaries, and like him personally - to the extent you can know some one personally through websites, books and the media - I am still very much torn. The debates will be interesting.

P.S. Despite all indications to the contrary, I check your site faithfully. It wasn't until you posted this picture that I noticed the sneaky little "comments" link above it. Before, I thought you had ceased to have commenting capabilities.
