I’ve worked from this particular home office for three years. That adds up to many hours staring out the window as I participate in conference calls or think. Each season turns the hill a different shade. The June colors are my favorite.
A pair of red-tail hawks took up residence in a nearby tree this spring.

Blasphemy! Blasphemy, that is, that you have to shut your windows. Boy, that says a lot about our corporate society, doesn’t it?
It does say alot, although it’s probably because my poorly designed speaker phone magnifies the birds singing, drowning out all conversation.
And the poorly designed speaker phone says a lot, too. Though maybe my listening to Alan Weisman’s The World Without Us just has me anti-stuff right now….
